This is a great environment to train at with everyone being very welcoming but also training very hard at the same time. Clay breaks down the instructions very well so that all the students can easily learn the instruction an there are also a lot of coaches that are available to help out as well. The training/sparring sessions are ran very efficiently an the actual training space is very clean an organized as well. Would highly recommend training here!

I've trained at many jiujitsu gyms around the country, and Triangle Academy is a special place. They have some of the best instruction and cleanliness I've experienced. These types of gyms can seem very intimidating to newcomers, but the staff here is very welcoming and accommodating. It's also a very high level competition facility with one of the toughest training rooms around. If you're new, start at Triangle. If you're looking for somewhere to train from out of town, come to Triangle.

I dropped in for a morning class when I was in Franklin this week. The team was very welcoming, the no-gi class, lead by Zach, was very informative, and the rolls lived up to the reputation of being tough. I would definitely recommend the gym. Clay and his team are killing it!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR PARENTS My 10-year-old son trains at Triangle Academy, and, as parents, its been one of the best things we've been able to give him. In an age of screens and entitlement, doing BJJ at Triangle with the excellent coaches has built his confidence, discipline, and respectfulness. My son (like most kids) is the average of those he hangs around, and it was immediately clear these are the kids we want him to be surrounded by -- ones that are strong, humble, and show respect in the face of adversity. My son has lots of energy, and BJJ allows him to channel it in a productive and rewarding way. While this has been one of the hardest things he's ever done (some days are filled with tears -- especially at first), we do hard things because they make us better. He now knows nothing is given, everything is earned. When he was awarded a stripe on his belt, it meant something -- a switch just turned on. It doesn't happen overnight, but when it does, its powerful to see their whole demeanor shift in a positive way. We looked at a lot of places to train in the area, and can confidently say Triangle is the best. If you are looking for a daycare/afterschool type program, Triangle is NOT the right place. But if you are looking for top-instruction and a positive, competitive environment that holds kids to a high standard, I have nothing but high recommendations.
